Ericsson's mission is to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that everyone, regardless of their location or circumstances, has access to the benefits of modern telecommunications. They work on creating sustainable, affordable, and inclusive connectivity solutions.
Our research efforts were dedicated to uncovering the most effective means of fulfilling Ericsson's corporate objective of connecting 1 million users in economically challenged regions through their Wi-Fi hub. Following an extensive brainstorming process, we identified the optimal solution: Sustainable Connectivity. This pioneering approach entails the deployment of solar panels in diverse geographical areas, enabling access to Ericsson's response service, ultimately our pitch landed us first place in the business category.
