2023

Made for: C&M

Role: UX researcher, UI Designer & Storytelling

Brief: Create and iterate high-fidelity user interfaces that are delightful and meaningful. Communicate complex and abstract information in a convincing, inviting and memorable manner.

Good stories always captivate audiences. In this project we used storytelling throughout the design process to ensure that all work focuses on the users’ needs and the value we want to give those users.

To make the website truly resonate with the user, we used storytelling techniques. The narrative weaved throughout the website wasn't just about the gym's services but about the transformation it could bring to people's lives. We incorporated who they are as a company and their story as a business who have worked with helping all kind of injuries and people for over 20 years. These stories added a relatable and emotional dimension to the brand, instantly connecting with the users on a personal level.

The outcome of our work was a website that not only looked and felt modern but, more importantly, placed the user at the center of its design. The user journey and storytelling elements were instrumental in making the website resonate with visitors.

The project entailed a complete website redesign, one that would not only reflect the gym's expertise but also prioritize the user's experience. To achieve this, we harnessed the power of user personas, SWOT analysis and storytelling, guiding our way to a refreshed and user-centric design.

Our journey began with a deep dive into understanding the user's perspective. We recognized that potential clients would visit the website seeking relief from their physical discomfort, looking for guidance, and searching for a trusted partner in their rehabilitation journey. To cater to these diverse needs effectively, we initiated the creation of user personas. These personas represented different segments of the gym's clientele, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking improved mobility

User Personas:

We also conducted a SWOT analysis of the C&M website to evaluate its overall performance and strategic position. We assessed the website's strengths, such as it’s interesting and very much needed service for people. We also identified weakness, such as it being a boring design, non interactive and outdated. Opportunities included potential for expanding thanks to the growing market for psychical health, while threats included poor branding with an unclear purpose. This analysis provided valuable insights for optimizing the website's online presence and user experience.

SWOT Analysis

With a clear understanding of the user, the websites pros and cons and a compelling story to tell, we started on the UI of the new website, This included a clean and intuitive navigation system, prominently displaying key information, appointment scheduling, and providing easy access to call to action buttons along with a rebrand. The design was not just visually appealing but structured to guide users seamlessly through their visit.
